Skinned knees and bubbles

Since I can't move my pictures we are going to do this backwards. This is Addie this morning blowing bubbles, waiting to go to story time at a friends house.

I was trying to get Addie to smile for a picture, so I told her to show me her teeth, this is what I got.

Saturday we went to the lake with my family, Addie fell down and skinned her right knee. Yesterday we went to Thanksgiving point with friends and she fell down and skinned her left knee. She kept showing everyone her two boo-boo's

Saturday Karee and I ran a 10k we had so much fun. This is us before the race.

Friday my family went to dinner in Provo. I bought matching aprons for me and Addie. Addie wanted to wear hers right then. She was walking through the mall with her apron and glasses on, it was so cute. People kept stopping us to look at her.

I was trying to get a picture of the shirt Grandma and Grandpa Elliott sent her for her birthday, this is the best one out of 10 :)

Summer time

So far we are having a great time at Mimi and Papa's cabin. We went to the gateway with Andrea and Chantelle on Monday. I had this vision of Addie running through the water having a great time while I watched from the bench. I packed her swim suit, and didn't bother one for me. Well Addie was scared to death, and she would not let go of me. So I ended up running through the water with her clinging to me like a baby monkey. needless to say I got wet.

Today we went to the swimming pool with some friends, Addie was a little scared at first but then she had a great time, until some boys were rough housing and accidentally hit her in face. My poor baby.

Another party

We celebrated Addy's birthday and Father's day yesterday with family and friends. Despite the rain and hail we had a great time. Addy was so excited to have an Elmo party, complete with an Elmo cake and balloons. We wish daddy could have been here.

I sat Addie in her chair with her food, I went to fix me a plate, when I looked up she was sitting on the table, on her plate of food. We were all laughing so hard.

What a weekend

Friday Brandon was promoted to Lieutenant Addy and I got to pin his bars on his uniform. We are so proud of him.

Saturday we celebrated Addy's 2nd birthday, since Brandon won't be here for her real birthday. My friend Pamela offered to host, and she spoiled us with tri-tip steak, potatoes, appetizers and fresh fruit, it was delicious. Another friend brought a bounce house, and a bubble maker, and I got her an Elmo cake. Addy had such a great time. The next day she wanted to retell the whole thing over and over again.

Before we went to Pamela's for the party Addie opened her gifts from us. She got a soccer goal and ball, a toy bus, clothes ,and magnets. Grandma and Grandpa Elliott sent her a blanket that was made into a Lady Bug just for her. She loved it.

Addy had her 2 year check up today. She weighed in at 23 pounds and she is 33 1/4 inches tall. Brandon is being deployed tomorrow, and we will head to Utah the same day.

Girls Trip

My girlfriends from Utah flew in to see me last weekend. Brandon took care of Addie and I headed to Seattle for some girl time. Thursday night we went to the Space Needle, and tried to crash a "prom" for college students. But we were under dressed.

Friday we went shopping and spent some time at Pikes Market. Then we had a BBQ at my house that night.

Saturday we went to Port Angeles to look for Vampires. Unfortunately it was sunny so the Cullens, I am sure, were in Canada. But we did get some great pictures in the Twlight store. If we had more time we would have gone to the reservation to spend the day with Jacob j/k :)
