Family trip to Germany

Swarovski Museum

We got to Munich around 5:00 pm, so we went and walked around the Marienplatz which is a busy pedestrian zone with shops and restaurants. we had dinner at a local German beer garden. After dinner we walked around and spent some time at St Michael's church before heading back to the hotel. On the way home we found a great gelato place, they made the ice cream look like spaghetti, it was delicious.

Friday I went to Dachau Concentration camp. Brandon took the girls to a near by park so I could experience Dachau. It was so emotional, but it is an experience I will never forget. Later that night we finished sight seeing in Munich, we went to the English Gardens and had dinner in the gardens. They had an old carousel which Addy rode at least 10 times.

Saturday we went to Garmish, our hotel was right next to the Alps, it was so beautiful. We spent the day swimming and walking around Garmish

Sunday we spent the day exploring the Neuschwanstein Castle, Addy loved the castles she decided she wants to be a King. We stopped at a park at the bottom of a gondola for lunch, the gondola was closed but Addy had a blast at the park.

Monday we went to the Swarovski museum, it was so cool. Our camera died so we don't have many pictures inside, but it was beautiful. That was our last day in Germany.

Update on the Girls

Reese is 8 months and a few weeks (I am a little late with the blog) Reese loves to crawl around and explore. She thinks Addyson is the funniest person alive.
Things that are new: Reese got her first tooth, she pulls herself up to standing, she cruises the furniture, and she is starting to eat table food.

Likes: Her sister, musical toys that light up, crawling, and eating Mommy's keys, and swimming
Dislikes: sleeping throught the night.

Addyson is at such a fun stage, she amazes me every single day. One thing that always amazes me is how well she deals with the word "no" even as a baby we never used baby gates, because we would tell her "that's not a toy" and she would leave it alone. As she has grown she is still that way. 90% of the time if I say "no" to a toy or treat she says "ok" and puts it back. I am always waiting for a fit or argument but to my delight she puts it back.

What's new: Addy has become a great swimmer, she is no longer afraid of putting her face in the water. She starts soccer next week, she is a really fast runner, and Brandon has taught her to be a pretty good forward. She is doing great with her academics, she can write all her letters, her name and a few common words, she loves to color and actually stays in the lines, and she loves to paint. Ballet starts next month and Addy is excited to start dancing again.

We had to take a break from horse back riding, but she practices daily with her stick horse "Maximus".

Likes: Her little sister, All animals, running, painting, swimming and playing with friends, and dress up.

Dislikes: loud noises, walking, sleeping in past 6 am, and cleaning up her toys.

I feel so bleesed to be traveling Europe with my Honey and two wonderful children

Sweden

June 29, today was out last stop. We went to Sweden. We took a bus tour of the city then went to the Vassa Museum. For those of you, like myself, who have never heard of the Vassa Museum it displays the only fully intact 17th century ship that has ever been salvaged, the 64 gun ship Vassa sunk on it's Maiden voyage. It was really cool to see. During the bus tour we saw a catherdral, the oprea house, and the parliament building. We had a great lunch near a park, then went shopping. By the time we got back to the boat we were exhausted. View of the town from the port
