Snow

Love it or hate it we got a bunch of it (a bunch for Washington). It's been fun to watch the snow fall and be snowed in for 2 days. School have been closed for 2 days and they are closed tomorrow. I have not seen a snow plow, I am sure they have one here but I don't know where it is. My street is so snow packed that the kids are sledding down the street. It's crazy. I took Addie out to play in it yesterday she had a good time. The only thing missing is Brandon. Because of the snow he was not able to come home today like planned. We are hoping maybe tomorrow. Like I said Snow love it or hate it.

This is a picture of my street as you can see it's snow packed. The next to pictures are of Addie's church dress. I had to share them because I think she looks so cute. Of course she wouldn't look at the camera and when she finally did it was her serious face (what a nut).

Military Santa

Today was the Children's Christmas party on base. Addie had such a good time. She loved the bounce house (this was her first time in one) I had to bribe her with a cookie to get her out. Addie made her daddy a Christmas card, and an ornament. Then Santa flew in on a P3. Addyson was so excited she kept yelling "Hello Santa" or better heard as "Yellow Anta". I really wish Brandon could have seen her today, she seemed so grown up. Here are some pictures of the party.

This is the only picture I got of her looking at the camera, she of course is not smiling, which is so typical, but all my pictures are of her walking towards me, away from me or looking somewhere else. She never wants to sit still for a picture.

We had a big storm yesterday so we were stuck inside ALL day, to pass the time we made Rudolph with Addie's foot and hands. I think it turned out so cute, and Addie had a blast.

Goodbye Utah

My last weekend was wonderful. My Mom took Friday off, and we went shopping around Heber then went to lunch at the Spin Cafe. Saturday Andrea came up and we went to Swiss Christmas, and had my last lunch at Dairy Keen. After that we rode on the Santa Train. Addie loved the train and wasn't so sure about Santa.

That night I had a Christmas party with my Sorority sisters. We had a great time. I spent the night at Karee's house we stayed up playing games until 1:00 am. It was so much fun.

Sunday was the Hansen family party, Addie had a good time playing with her cousins. Then Monday we flew home. Addie did great on the plane. We had a small melt down on the shuttle but it was an hour past nap time, and she had already had to sit still for 2 hours so she really wanted to walk around on the shuttle. Soon she fell asleep and the rest of the trip home was peaceful.

All About Addie

Here are some new pictures of Addie being the funny girl that she is. She loves hats, cars, balls, and now her new toy magnets. She sits in front of the fridge with her couch and plays with the magnets for hours. Addie is learning so many new words like snowman, candle, and my favorite "awesome"Addie wearing Chantelle's ski cap

Twilight and more

OK so I have to admit I am a Twilight fan. I was really into the books although I am the weird person who thinks Bella is way too whiny (sorry I can't spell that) for my taste and through books 1-3 and most of 4 I preferred Jacob over Edward. If you are not a Twilight fan you may skip this entry and go straight to the pictures. I saw the movie and loved it, and surprisingly I fell in love with Edward( i didn't think I would like that actor as Edward). In case you are wondering, Addyson does smile just never in pictures. When ever I get the camera out she either runs away or stares at me like in the picture above. I don't know where she got that serious side. Brandon and I are such goof balls.
