Banff Canada

We left Addyson with my brother in Spokane and drove up to Banff Canada for a few nights. This is the hotel we stayed in. It looked like a castle. We got there Sunday after noon. We spent the day exploring the hotel and getting settled in.

Monday we went to the Gondola that took us up to Sulfur mountain. The view was amazing. We hiked around there for awhile. This is a bus they use during the winter to drive over frozen lakes.

Picture of the Gondola's going up the mountain.

Tuesday Brandon played golf and I rode along to look for elk.

After a wonderful time in Banff, we headed for home on Wednesday. Addy was glad to have us back. My favorite part was sleeping in until 9:00 am every morning.

Spokane Trip

Last Thursday we took a trip to Spokane to see family. We got there late Thursday night. Friday Morning the girls went to the spa while the boys golfed. We enjoyed an hour massage followed by 45 minute foot and leg rub.

This is the boys after golf,
Saturday we went to a orchard to pick apples, peaches and pumpkins. They even had a area for small kids to jump in bounce houses and run though a maze. Addy had a great time.

The family.

Saturday night we had a BBQ at the lake to celebrate Mom's and Andrew's Birthday.

This is the last night we were there, Addy wanted to sleep on the stairs with her "Aunt Anraw"

Addy's fist day of school

September 17th was Addy's first day at Mom's day out. Which is a program held on Monday and Thursday for 4 hours. It gives me a break to get things done, and Addy a chance to socialize. She had no problems the first day. Her best Friend Carley is in her class, the teacher said they didn't leave each others side the whole day.

Portland Trip

We went to Portland for Labor day weekend. We had such a good time. We stayed with Brandon's Aunt Jodee and Dave. Grandma and Grandpa Elliott drove up from Klamath Falls to meet us. Addyson was so excited to spend time with her family. And with free babysitters Brandon and I enjoyed some alone time. We spent all day Saturday shopping, then went to a movie that night.

Sunday we took Addie to a Children's Museum. She had a such a good time. Here are some pictures of our day.

Outside of the museum was a big train. Addy had to go explore it.

Before we went to the museum we stopped at a Vietnam Veterans Memorial, that was just up the road. It was very beautiful and humbling.

We are home, and back in the swing of things. Counting down for our next trip on September 18th.

My cowgirl

Brandon got home last week, and Addie has been in heaven. All day she kept saying "daddy look" as she showed him all her toys, and tricks she can do. Here are a few pictures of her getting ready to see Daddy. Just to update you, Addie is sleeping in her own bed all night long now (no more 2 AM wake up to sleep with mommy) We are both so proud of her. Each night she says "Addie a big girl, no cry" I don't know what that face is all about.
Or this one.
Today we went with the spouses group to a ranch. It was so much fun, the kids got to cowboy/cowgirls for the day. They rode horses, played dress up, and went on a wagon ride.
