All My Love, All My Life: March 2011

Germany

The main reason I agreed to move to Italy, was so I could travel Europe, but as the months have passed I realized I haven't left the Island (besides going to the states) since September (pregnant, c-section and trip to the states) On the other hand Brandon is going to a new country every month, and I was starting to feel left out. So when he went to Germany for 2 weeks in March I decided to go see him. Which meant flying alone with both girls, finding a ride from the airport to drive an hour to where he was. But I did it and I am so happy we did. We didn't get to see much of Brandon but Germany was great. It is a beautiful country and I can't wait to see the rest of it.

We left on March 17, here is Reese in her St Patty's day outfit ready to go.

Four Months Old

Reese had her four month check up today. She weighs 12.5 lbs and is 23 3/4 inches long. She loves to smile, and boy does she like to babble. She still has her beautiful blue eyes just like her sister. As I was thinking of posting this blog I couldn't help but think of Addyson at this age and to see how similar and different my girls are. I posted a few pictures of Addyson at 4 months so you can see for yourself. Reese is the top two, Addy the bottom two. Boy am I blessed to have such sweet girls.

Reese's nick names: Daisey, Peanut, Reesey, or Reesey Pieces.

Carnivale 2011

The Carnivale is the way Italians do Mardi Gras, but insead of beads they throw confetti, lots and lots of it. Addyson was having so much fun. Here are a few pictures of the madness.

Addyson's school had a Carnivale party on Friday. All the kids dressed up and made masks for the party.

Portland

While visiting the states we had a chance to go to Portland, Oregon to visit Brandon's family. We had such a great time. We got there on a Wednesday night. We spent Thursday in down town portland. We took the girls to Finnagens which is a really cute toy store. Then we ate lunch at a great Lebanese restuarant. Friday we took the girls and Grandma and Grandpa Elliott to the Children's museum. That night we saw some dear friends from VQ-2. Saturday we spent the day in Salem with Grandpa Harley, Aunt Shirley, and Uncle Eric. We went to Gilbert's it was a great place for the kids to play. That night we finally had a steak dinner, Brandon had been craving since he got to the states. Here are some highlights of the trip.
