My last class

Last night was my last cake decorating class. It was a lot of fun. I am going to miss getting together with the girls to talk, eat and learn to decorate a little. Here is my final project.

Here today Gone tomorrow

Well Brandon came home last Friday the 15th, but left today for a training he will be gone another week. But in the 8 days we had him home we had a great time. Addie had no problem going to him when we met him at the airport ( I was a little worried). That weekend we went to Orcas Island on the San Juan Islands. We stayed at a resort spa. It was so peaceful, our cell phones didn't work, so we just had family time. It was great. We went shopping, hiking, swimming and relaxed. Brandon went back to work Wednesday. Now we have started the count down again...

They have a family of deer that live at the resort, everyone was petting them and feeding them. They were really tame.

After dinner we went for a walk.We saw a seaplane land, we saw starfish and beautiful scenery. You may wonder why we are wearing our coats in August. Well in Washington August equals cold and rain. Wait every month here seems to equal cold and rain :)

Monday August 18th after a day of shopping and swimming we went for a hike at a near by state park.

My last weekend

Well I am back home in Oak Harbor. I got home Tuesday afternoon. That night I had a spouse's club meeting. Then Wednesday Addie got her 1 year shots. That night was my cake decorating class. And now it's Thursday, and Brandon will be home tomorrow.

As for my last weekend in Utah is was great. Friday night we had girls night in Park city. Saturday we spent the day at the lake, then that night I went to Logan for Woody's bachelorette(I can never spell that right) party. It was so much fun to see my old stomping grounds. Sunday we had a dinner at my parents house for family and friends. And Monday was my last play date with the girls.

Here are new pictures from my cake decorating class. We have started on fondant. Here is the before and after pictures. I thought it would be fun to do a cake for Brandon. I can't believe he will really be home tomorrow YEAH!!!

10 days left

I can't believe it's almost time for me to go back to Washington. I have had so much fun visiting family and friends. Rumor has it Brandon will be back shortly after I return, so keep your fingers crossed that nothing will change.

We went to the Fair Days parade in good old Heber city. Here are some pictures of Addie enjoying it.

My parents went on a motorcycle trip this weekend. Addie insisted on putting my Dad's helmet on which weighs as much as her. Then she was walking around with it on her head and I was holding on to her, but I let go to grab my camera and she fell forward. Good thing she had a helmet on.
