It's a Miracle

I got a call this morning from my Dad, my uncle's friend was up at the cabin and found my camera that I lost in the snow. He turned it on and saw my dad and got it back to us. It's amazing that is was found in the deep snow, and that is still worked after 3 weeks. So here are the pictures of our weekend at the cabin. Addy in the snowcat on the way home

Santa Came

Addy must of been a good girl because Santa brought her just what she wanted. She got an Elmo's doctor kit, and doll house and some art and craft supplies. She had so much fun playing with the toys Santa brought she didn't care about opening the gifts under the tree.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve and Andrea's house. There was a ton of food, and we had a surprise visit from Santa. He brought Addy a My Little pony. Addy found a new friend, his name was Dakota he was probably 9 or 10, he had a transformer and Addy just followed him around, and watched his every move. It was so cute. Addy opening her gifts

It's about time

Sorry for the break from blogging, I wish it was due to me being busy with exciting adventures and vacations...but it's not. I lost my camera in the snow with all of my pictures and I just got a new camera.

Here's what happened the weekend of December 16th, my family and I went to my Uncle's cabin. It was awesome it has a game room, a built in theater, snowmobiles and a Snowcat. We had a blast playing in the snow, playing games, hot tubing and watching movies late at night. I had some great pictures. Then Sunday came and we had to leave early due to a snow storm, it had already dumped 24 inches. We had to take the snowmobiles, and snow cat down to our cars. But because the snow was so soft the snowmobiles kept getting stuck. At one point the snowmobile that my Dad and Andrea was on tipped over and we couldn't see them. I jumped out of the Snowcat ran up the hill to check on them, forgetting my camera was in my coat pocket that I hadn't zipped up. Needless to say by the time we made it down to the bottom, I realized the camera was gone. Maybe next spring we will find it.

Snow Day

One of the perks of being a stay at home mom, is on days like today, when it hasn't stopped snowing and the roads are covered in snow, I don't have to go anywhere. instead I get to catch snowflakes with my baby, and teach her how to make a snowball. I am so blessed.

Where is Santa?

Addy is so excited for Christmas this year. She finally understands who Santa is and what he brings us. Of course I went shopping on black Friday and thought I was done with her until she told me she is asking Santa for an Elmo (I guess the 8 we have at home are not enough). I told her we were going to see Santa on Thursday night, and that's all she could talk about all day. Then as we stood in line she sang very loudly "Where is Santa, Where is Santa" (sung to the tune of where is Thumbkin) After 45 minutes of waiting, it was finally our turn. As soon as she gets close to him she freaks out and clings to me. I paid $8 for a picture, so I was determined to get her on his lap. I did succeed even though it was only for 10 seconds and amazingly he got a decent picture of us.

Afterwards she was like "I love Santa'" and of course she loved the candy cane.

New moon party

I am sure you are all sick of New moon talk, but I had to share. My friends and I rented the Oak Harbor theater out to watch New moon. We ended up with 75 people in attendance. It was so much fun. We all got t-shirts, new moon candy bars, and had a blast. Here are a few pictures.

If you can't read the shirts mine is team Jacob, Tisha next to me is team Edward, my mom and Mia's says team Edward unless Jacob is shirtless.
