What a weekend

Friday Brandon was promoted to Lieutenant Addy and I got to pin his bars on his uniform. We are so proud of him. Saturday we celebrated Addy's 2nd birthday, since Brandon won't be here for her real birthday. My friend Pamela offered to host, and she spoiled us with tri-tip steak, potatoes, appetizers and fresh fruit, it was delicious. Another friend brought a bounce house, and a bubble maker, and I got her an Elmo cake. Addy had such a great time. The next day she wanted to retell the whole thing over and over again.

Before we went to Pamela's for the party Addie opened her gifts from us. She got a soccer goal and ball, a toy bus, clothes ,and magnets. Grandma and Grandpa Elliott sent her a blanket that was made into a Lady Bug just for her. She loved it.

Addy had her 2 year check up today. She weighed in at 23 pounds and she is 33 1/4 inches tall. Brandon is being deployed tomorrow, and we will head to Utah the same day.
