What a NUT!

Ever since Addie was little she has been a crazy sleeper. Well for the past few months her new thing is pulling her arm out of her Jammies. So every morning I find her with one arm out of the top of her jammies, and the other one still in. You would think this would be uncomfortable, but when you try to put her arm back in she gets all upset. So I took a few pictures to show you.

She has also learned a new trick, and Brandon got it on camera. I hope the video works.

Stuff

I have a bunch of random pictures on my camera I thought I would share with you. Addie got a baby from Santa and it came with a carrier. She loves to put Elmo in it and walk around the house.

Addyson has discovered "noodles" and loves them. It is the only food she will ask for "more" This is her enjoying her noodles. What a mess!!!

One day Addie wanted yogurt for a snack, it all started off well, she was using her spoon, then she started using her hands, and lastly she picked up the cup and drank it leaving a lovely yogurt mustache. What a nut!!!




Memaw and Papa Hansen sent her this coat for Christmas, I love it. Every time she wears it people stop to tell us how cute she is. (even if she won't smile in pictures)


This is a new dress Addyson got for Christmas, I spent all morning long trying to get a good picture of it, but I was not successful. It is a pink and grey plaid dress over a pink shirt. She looked so cute in it. I don't know why she won't hold still and look and the camera for me.

OK so technically she is holding still, and looking at the camera in this one, but what's with the face. She reminds me of my sister Andrea, who never smiled in pictures growing up.

I started doing preschool with Addyson this week. These pictures are of us making snowman pancakes for our craft. Addie had so much fun making them, and eating them.

Happy New year

Well as you can see by my blog I have been in Honeymoon phase since Brandon got home on the 19th. We have spent every waking moment we have together, it was nice. But he goes to work on Monday so it is almost over.

Christmas was great. We didn't do much because of the snow. We drove up to Deception pass to take pictures. Here are a few of my favorites

We saw Santa and made cookies an Christmas Eve, Addie was a big helper. Her favorite part was licking the beaters.

Christmas Eve we open 3 gifts, PJ's, and ornament and a Christmas movie. This is me an Addie getting ready to open our gifts.




Christmas morning was so fun. Addie loved opening her gifts. She would get so excited. She loved her new doll and couch Santa brought her. Here are a few pictures of Christmas morning.

New years we went to Frasier's (a restaurant on the Island) for dinner then played games at a friends house. It was a lot of fun.

As for 2009 Brandon goes back to work on Monday and will be busy studying for his EWAC board which once he passes he will be qualified as a Aircraft Commander. We don't know when he is leaving us again. But we can be sure it won't be long from now.

Addie is growing and learning so much. She loves to dance, color, read books, and play with her dolls. We will be going to her 18 month appointment next week so I will email an update.

As for me, the school I was working at closed down for financial reasons they are hoping to re-open soon, until then I am back to being a stay at home Mom. So to stay busy I joined a marathon running club. It will prepare me to run in the 1/2 Whidbey Marathon. Wish me luck.
