My little lady bug

We had a Halloween party on the base today, and I took Addie dressed as a lady bug. I think she looks so cute. She can't say trick or treat yet so she says "Boo". It's so cute!!! We had a lot of fun at the party, Addie went pumpkin bowling, made a mask, and mom even let her eat a sucker, which was a huge mistake she got it in my hair then after 5 licks she didn't want it anymore so she dropped on the carpet. Which was a lot fun to clean up. Oh well your only young once.

Here is my little lady bug.

30 is the new 20...so I hear

I can't believe how wonderful it is to turn 30. Actually it's just so nice to have a birthday. I hope you all agree. Those of you who know me, will know I love birthdays no matter how old you are. My whole family is that way. And I have to say being away from family and having my husband gone on my birthday, hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be. I have had so many phone calls, emails, surprise flowers, and good friends here that made this day wonderful. Thank you for reminding me that I am not alone even if I am :)

I went out last night with some friends to celebrate my birthday. This is the only picture I took, I hate that I start the night off thinking I am going to take lots of great pictures. I take one then forgot I have a camera.

As for this week. It was another great week at work. I got my first paycheck yesterday. It was exciting be making money again. Addie loves school and hardly notices when I leave. She had picture day yesterday, here are a few pictures of her getting ready for picture day. I am curious to see how the pictures turn out since Addie rarely smiles for pictures.

So much to blog about, So little time

Wow this week went by fast. Last weekend I enjoyed my time in Utah. I saw Reba in concert (I forgot my camera so I have to get pictures from my mom to post) it was so awesome. The best was the finale. They came out and sang "Fancy" I went crazy. I believe I will be a rock star in my next life. Check out this video on you tube it will give you a small taste of what it was like.

I had a girls day on Saturday, filled with shopping, dinner, movie and great conversations. Sunday it was back to Washington. I started my job on Monday and I survived my first week. I really like my new job. It's a little slower paced than I am use to, but that is nice. Brandon left Thursday morning and is half way to Iraq by now (I brought my camera to his send off but forgot to take pictures).

Before Brandon left we went to a pumpkin patch to let Addie pick out her own pumpkin. Then we let her paint it. She had so much fun. Here are some pictures of the experience.

This is Addie's finished pumpkin.

Birthday Month

As many of you know I love my birthday, or should I say birthday month. I believe you should count down the days to your birthday and make everyone aware of it (19 days). Since my Hubby won't be her for my birthday we celebrated on Saturday. I got new running shoes, a workout outfit, a new video camera (mine was put in the toilet by you know who...Brandon j/k) and a got a nice button up shirt for work. We then went to dinner child free (Thanks Stacie) to Christopher's. It was nice to sit in a quiet restaurant and order fancy food, and even get dessert. Then we took the long way home to watch the sunset into the ocean. It was a perfect beginning to my birthday month. So thank you Brandon I love you so much and I am going to miss you.

Going Crazy

So today I took Addie to School at 8:15 and by 11:00 I had already called twice to check on her. So instead of worry about her I am going to blog about her. I had some pictures I had to share. Her hair is finally long enough on top (it still isn't growing on the sides) to do pigtails so I put pigtails in the other day. I think she looks so cute.

Her Grandma and Grandpa "Harley" gave her the cutest onesie when she was little it says my grandpa rides a Harley. They also got her a motorcycle for her birthday. She is finally big enough to wear the onesie so I took some pictures of her riding her motorcycle with her onesie.

Addie's first day of "school"

As many of you have heard I got a job as a lead teacher for a private school for students with Autism. It came up suddenly and I wasn't planning on going back to work so soon. But it was a great opportunity for me. So today I took Addie to day care for the first time. She did great she went and started playing right away. I cried when I got in the car. I think it is always hard the first time you leave your baby in strangers hands, no matter how qualified they are.

Here are some pictures of her and her new backpack she got for school.
