Capital City Marathon May 17th

Well it finally came and went. I ran my first marathon on Sunday in Olympia Washington. I was nervous but really happy that I finished it. It took me 4.5 hours but it was worth it. When I hit mile 22, it hit me that I am really going to do this. That all this training worked, but afterwards I couldn't help to think...what's next? A triathlon? another marathon? I will have to wait and see what the future holds for me.

Daddy's Home

Brandon got home late Thursday night, and we got up a 5:30 AM on Friday to catch a ferry to Victoria. Addie loved the 3 hour ferry ride. When we got to Victoria we grabbed some lunch before nap time. That night we went to a park, and Addie played on the swings. Ever since Brandon got home it's been "Daddy change me", "Daddy feed me", "Daddy push me." It was a nice break for me.

Saturday we went to Butchart Gardens, then did some more exploring of Victoria. Sunday we went to breakfast then caught the ferry home. We had such a great weekend. I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's day.

Anyone who has spent time with Addie knows how much she hats car rides. This face says it all.
