April showers
April has been a month of family, fun and travel. And it is only half over. We concluded our adventure in Bend with a hike up to a river and covered bridge. Snow and cold weather could not keep us in. Then went bowling that night. Addy still asks for Grandma and Grandpa "Harley"
We got to Klamath Falls on Tuesday the 6th, to spend time with the Elliott family. We had Grandma and Grandpa Elliott up for dinner the night we got in. The next day Brandon went golfing while Addy and I went swimming. That afternoon we went to the park and played with her cousin Molly. Then dinner with more cousins. Thursday we had a BBQ with the rest of the family. Friday after Brandon's golf game we headed to Portland to see Aunt Jodee and Uncle Dave.

We got to Portland Friday night (Addy was such a trooper). Saturday we went to the Zoo, and Addy had a blast she loved the lions, and the bears. Just a side note, if you are wondering why I never put Addy's hair in bows or pigtails, it's because she insists on having "crazy" hair and my feeble attempts ends up with her taking out the bow or piggy 30 seconds after I am finished.

Big bears.
Sunday we met Aunt Shirley and Uncle Eric for lunch, then we spent the afternoon at the tulip festival. Addy didn't care about the flowers but she loved the kids play area. It was full of blow up toys, horse rides, slides, swings, and duck races.

Goodbye Portland we had a great time.
We got to Utah on April 13th and things haven't slowed down. Today we went to the Aquarium in Salt Lake, it a bit small but Addy didn't mind. She got to touch a Sting Ray, watch penguins play, and crawl through tunnels. We went to Rodizio Grill for dinner for a "Love stinks" party. It was nice to have a great dinner with the family. It's also nice to know you can always count on family when love or life stinks.
