March...A month of Firsts, Lasts, and a Birthday

It's Only 5 days into March and I feel like I have done so much. My best friend from grade school. Karee, came to visit me for the first time and we had a blast. The first night we spent in Seattle, shopping, than going to Legally Blonde. Our good friend in High school stars in it, so we met up with him after, and stayed out until 2 in the morning talking about the "good old days" Friday we spent the day exploring Whidbey Island. Saturday after a run we went hiking, then o lunch. That night we went out to dinner and a movie with my good friend Tish. Sunday came way too soon.

Me, Tish and Karee, ready for a girls night.

An update on Addy. She is such a girl and I love it. She wants to wear a dress everyday, even if we are going to the park to play. Too bad I just spent a fortune on new capri's and tops for the summer. Her hair is getting long enough to do big girl pigtails. She goes to school twice a week, and art class once a week. She is really into Curious George, and the Princesses. Last month it was Cinderella this month it's Snow White(she covers her eye when the witch turns to an old woman, she hates that part). She is happy, and really excited to see family one more time before we go to Italy.

Brandon had his birthday day last night. We did dinner at home, some gifts, and the best part the cake. Brandon hates cake but he does enjoy the ice cream cake from DQ. So he taught Addy how to lick the cake. Addy thought it was the best thing ever.

You know if someone made me a cake out of bacon and steak...and frosted it with garlic mashed potatoes, then I'd fall in love with cake. I bet Brandon would, too! Happy Birthday!
