Crescent City

We got to Casa Rubio Sunday afternoon. Our room had a great view of the ocean. The beach was just down some steps less then a block away. It was great. The bed and breakfast we stayed at had a terrific garden, it was so peaceful. That night we walked along the beach then went to dinner at the Nautical Inn which over looks the ocean.

Monday we went to the redwoods and hiked around. We stopped on one of the trails to have a picnic. I have always wanted to go to the redwoods so I had a blast looking at the trees. It's amazing how beautiful nature is. Here are a few pictures of us in the redwoods. It of course does not do justice at portraying the beauty of the redwoods.

After our hike we went to Crescent city and saw a light house, sea lions and beautiful Oregon coast. That night we went to Brookings and had dinner at the Smugglers cove. Tuesday was spent driving 5 hours to Bend to stay the night, then Wednesday we drove 7 1/2 hours home. It was nice to be back but I miss having Brandon home all day :) We were definitely spoiled with this trip.
