April Shower brings May flowers

May has been a month full of ups and downs. It started with a trip to Venice for Brandon, which resulted in lots of fun gifts for us. Then for Mother's Day Brandon and his friends surprised all the Moms with a surprise trip to Falconara. It was a beautiful weekend, we played at the beach, went swimming, and enjoyed good food and friends. The best part was our Mother's Day gift is a trip to Milan. Just us girls, no kids! I am so excited.
The next week was our family trip to Paris, but thanks to the eruption of Mt Enta that never happened. Then weekend went down hill from there. Our car broke down, so we had to get a tow, then juggle our schedules to be a one car family. That brings us to today. Addyson's Ballet recital. She looked so beautiful. I was so proud of her. I can't believe what a big girl my baby is. Addy waiting to start dancing, her group was "fall" their tutu's have leaves on them.

Today was picture day so Addy had to wear her uniform to school, something she has done only once. She hates pants.

Addy wearing shorts for the first time in almost two years, I convinced her since we were going to the beach that she needed to wear shorts instead of a dress, and she actually wore them for 5 hours :)
